Public Holidays
Today is another public holiday. It's Thanksgiving, which I didn't even know Canada had until I was invited to a Thanksgiving dinner last week. It's not the same as the Yank version which is in about 5 weeks but the celebration is for pretty much the same reason and the food is the same, i.e. Turkey, stuffing etc...What it mainly means for me is making no progress in my mission as everyone's at home watching football. There's another one in about a month too. They have Remembrance day off when we the Brits, who fought most of the war don't! We should really get that one. Anyway, I've just watched two CFL games (canadian football) and have a baseball game later. I'd go outside and do stuff but it's raining.
