I'm a fair person, so here's an embarassing photo of me absolutely plastered after England beat Switzerland in Euro 2004.
My new found ability to load pictures has obviously motivated me to put up the most embarassing ones I can find for the world to see...bad luck Jacko! In your defence you were the only one small enough to get into the dress but you didn't have to let them put make up on you! Nut cases x 2
Good job I didn't go downtown today as apparantly the entire of Vancouver was gridlocked cos some nutjob was hanging off one of the two bridges threatening to jump. He took a coffee with him to think about it and then decided to come down. But then amazingly, on the other major bridge another wacko clambered over the side and thought about taking a swan dive. Alas, he bottled it too, but in the meantime thousands of cars were stranded in gridlock for 7 or 8 hours.

Even though the net has been down all day one of the pitch emails that I sent out this morning has produced a sale. Selling by email is much better than face to face!

Riot when you win?
Why do the Yanks riot when they win? They've got it all wrong, rioting
is for when you're angry and you've lost! As far as I'm concerned this
is yet more evidence of the fundamental differences between American
and European culture, or in laymans terms, that yanks are stupid.
Last night after Boston made the greatest ever come back in baseball history
coming from 3 games down to win 4-3 against their bitter New York Yankee
Rivals, the fans went on a rampage, tearing up Boston. In true American
overkill fashion the cops come out with the rubber bullets and some
poor girl got shot in the eye and killed. If I was American I'd be
wanting out. My American friend (female) is looking to marry anyone with an
EU passport if any of y'all are interested?
I'm writing this entry on notepad to upload later when our Internet is
back up. It's now 9pm on Thursday and it's been down since about 2pm.
We are pushing the bounds of the broadband connection what with having 3 PCs,
1 WiFi and 1 Internet phone going through a router. The adding of the
phone at lunch time seems to have tipped it over the edge and now it won't
work at all. Not good for me as it's only my second day on the job and
I've got plenty to do. Not good for bizness either as I sent out loads
of pitches this morning and if anyone is trying to contact us they're going
to be disapointed.

Reverse the curse
The Jesus guy did it again and Boston came back from 3 games down to beat the Yankees 4-3! I know one very happy American in London. It turns out baseball is quite a decent sport sometimes although it takes too long. The funny thing about baseball is there is usually only 2-3 remotely athletic guys on every team. The rest of them are like Beefy Botham, i.e. there because they can twat a baseball. Everyone's chewing through the whole game, whether it be tobacco, gum, seeds...I'm waiting for the day someone gets a Pizza delivered to the dugout.

So the central heating in my house is a poorer version of a car heating system. Yes, we have hot air that comes out of vents in each room, except ours can't be angled to where you are sitting and to turn the heat off for one room only you just have to swivel a metal plate down to block the air. This seal is by no means air tight and so you still get heat. Oh and now our heating is refusing to come on when we want it to but will then come on a few hours later when it feels like it.
This guy may look like Jesus but he just hit a grand slam (home run with the bases loaded) against the damn Yankees to help Boston potentially have the greatest ever come back in baseball history. Let's hope the don't screw up.

We're in business!
So I've decided to work for my housemate doing web marketing. I'm now set up in my room with my own PC. We trawled the used market and were downhearted at what we saw but then right as we were about to head home we popped into Staples. They had a deal for a desktop system with a printer for $700 with a $80 rebate to come. So we went for it. Brent is paying for the computer as it is a company computer! It's great as it means that I have my own computer and don't have to impose on Rosanna and Brent to check emails and stuff.
Tonight or tomorrow we'll do some more training and hopefully within a few days I'll be fully up to speed. Sometime in the future I should be savvy enough to do some media buying deals and make the company some real money.
