Back from Montreal
Well I had a nice time in Montreal and got to know my relatives a bit more. Had a wonder round the key parts of Montreal and got an extensive driving tour of Montreal's suburbs. Didn't have to eat anything too horrible but no real memorable meals either. Did see some snow but only light flurries that turned into sleet and soaked me. Didn't manage to find any Poutine on my two solo lunch trips but anyway.
As with all trips it ended with a crappy flight home. I know the prevailing winds are West to East but the flight home took 1 1/2 hrs longer than the flight there! I was gutted when they told us the flight time when we were setting off. 4 hrs is easy but 5 1/2 hrs makes it long haul in my book!

Montréal
It's frickin freezing and it's not even proper winter yet. My face hurts from the cold and I've been inside for an hour!
Things I've seen and experienced in Montréal so far:
* lotsa hot chicas
* a interesting food court type thing where you get a ticket when you go in and then everywhere you get food from they mark what you had on your ticket. You then pay when you leave. Everything is cooked from fresh from Omlettes, to crepes to Steak.
* lots of signs and menus are only in French and not bilingual. I think it would be hard to live here without knowing French.
* lots of the crossings have a green light for pedestrians instead of a green man
* the strip bars have pics of fully naked ladies on their signs

Results are in! With our massive sample size of 7, we can see that "Forget Canada..." comes in as the winner. Good job as I booked my flight home last night. I touch down on November 28th.
