SOCCERWAY.COM | Latest News Ahh there we go...fame and uh...no fortune at last!
Spot On! I think I must be related to this John Nicholson guy as I agree with almost everything he says. He always articulates my thoughts so well. I wonder if he gets well paid for these articles? Anyway, back to the article itself (read it), I totally agree with questioning people's hypocritical opinions. I'm reading a book right now that rubbishes a lot of common thinking about the evils of capitalism and lefty counter culture ideals. This is a brief excerpt I found on t'internet and this is the book itself if you wanna buy it.
Look, I can write any old crap and soccerway publish it! They haven't published my news about the UEFA cup betting scandal though. It's kind of losing its urgency as when I wrote it this morning only one website had it up but I bet they all do now (actually they don't...the story doesn't seem to have build up any steam).
Me want! Shamelessly latching onto the IPOD school of design, but hey, copying is the sincerest form of flattery.

Michael Jordan watch out this kid is the real deal. I seriously think he's going to dominate the league for 10 years. Whether he will be as great as Jordan is debatable (talk to me in 10 years) but he's going to be up there at the top of the sport for a long time.

Maybe working from home is a good idea I'm certainly used to spending time on my own these days.

Home
So I'm up early having gone to bed yesterday at 6.45pm. I hoped to last a bit later but that's still 26 hrs awake so not a bad effort. The journey home was pretty good as 14 hr journey's go. The flight was comfortable as I paid to upgrade to premium and it was also less than half full so most people travelling alone had a free seat next to them. I also reverted to the consume booze strategy after trailling the no booze strategy on my last 3 transatlantic flights. My verdict is the consume booze strategy defintely chills you out a bit and makes it more relaxing. My bike made it home although the box was fairly knackered. I haven't checked the contents yet but they should be ok as I bubble wrapped everything. I felt like a right prick at baggage collection as my bags came off first and I was there trying to work out how to carry 2 large bags, a boxed bike, a carry on bag and golf umbrella out to the arrivals lounge with about 50 people gawping at my exploits. I managed it by putting the bike upright on a trolley with my big backpack hanging on the hook and pulling my suitcase behind me. As I went through customs I heard them say "there's our big bust for today", but I wasn't in the mood for banter so I just ignored them.
Not sure there will be much to blog about these days now that I'm back to normality but I'm sure I'll find the odd thing to write about.
