It's a shame I can't blog whilst driving as i have all these great ideas for posts and then forget them when I get a chance to blog.
Well I've been to the Scottish Highlands this week. I was there on business but I managed to wangle doing one of my visits at the weekend so that I could attend the Fort William round of the UK NPS downhill mountain bike series. I was very interested to see the difficulty level of the course being an aspiring downhill demon myself. I must say it looked very intimidating as it was basically riding from the top of the mountain to the bottom. There were some very nasty technical rocky sections and some awkward man-made jumps. I saw a few spills and an ambulance arrived to treat some poor fella. It certainly was a world cup standard course and thus I will be going to watch the world cup there in September.
