America is funny...a divided nation. I love bumper stickers, who remembers my "quit honking, I'm reloading" sticker? See www.evolvefish.com for more funny stickers and remember only 51% of America was dumb enough to vote for Bush.

Oh and have this just for the sake of it...

Riding the crest of the post festival wave...

I know I watch a lot of music television but I'm on a quest to make up for lost time in between sky subscriptions (July 2004 - July 2005). There is so much talent out there right now that I just want to buy hundreds of CDs. I've bought a fair few this year (about 20) but it's just not enough to feed my habit so I have to watch Gonzo and Scuzz for hours and hours every night. It's perfect really as I can browse the net at the same time and it's no big deal if I miss a few minutes to make my dinner as I'm not going to miss some crucial plot line (just Zane babbling on about cheese). Anyway, I digress, I just wanted to "big up" some of my discoveries and ask for new tips if anyone ever comments on my blog. I gotta say despite the hype the Subways are in fact incredible. Nine Black Alps are some kind of Manc Nirvana and Hard Fi are chart friendly yet extremely catchy rock pop. Funeral for a friend and Bullet for my valentine are Welsh metallers that I love, Editors are releasing some cracking tunes and we haven't even got on to the yanks. My Chemical Romance are the latest sensation and as usual they're a very polished new band that seem to be instant superstars and then they're the old favourites Foo Fighters releasing quality new material. I'm also enjoying a bit of alt Dance music in Milo and LCD Sound system. I could go on all night...

Google is taking over the world

Just discovered this SMS service from google. All you do is send them a brief text message with your query for information and you get a text back with the answer. I've tested it and it works. Apparantly it only costs the price of the original text.
